The next Vintage Kino event will be at Manchester’s The Three Minute Theatre, Aflecks Arcade, Oldham Street, M1 1JG. They’ve trawled though their archive of 16mm film cans to put a memorable film proramme together.

 

They promise you won’t be disappointed. Even come in vintage dress to suit if you so wish (not obligatory but feel free to dress as you wish to suit the ambiance of the night).

Expect as usual some Pathe News reels to kick of the programme followed by some vintage animation, classic comedy and some real curios peieces from their education and information archive. They’ll also have a rarely sceened award winning short film.

Doors open at 7.30 to give you time to relax and get in the mood to some vintage music and drinks will be served by the delightful Gina (proprietor of this fine establishment).

Tickets: Just £3.50 on the door (unfortunately, they don’t accept vintage coins or notes!)

Programme starts at 7.45 – ish and there will be an intermission half way. Expect FREE ICE CREAM in the intermission and the the whirl of the projector in the background.
